
Despite the grounding of flights across Europe and around the world due to the volcanic ash, the Geneva Health Forum maintained its programme. The Forum was witness to an incredible spirit of solidarity and engagement of all those who attended, as well as those that were unable to gain passage. Fifteen visioconferenced presentations were held with speakers stranded in their home countries and all of the plenaries and several parallel sessions were webcast live to viewers around the world.
